Precision requirements & shop-floor challenges
High-Volume, Large-Diameter Straightening Without Pipe Surface Damage
Oil pipe tolerances are not suggestions. Casing, tubing, and line pipe leave heat treatment with residual stress that shows up as bow, ovality, and end hook. A bent joint will not make up at the wellhead. The harder problem is throughput: you often need hundreds of 9-meter joints per shift, and conventional three-roll straighteners leave roller marks or spiral scratches on the pipe body.
Our Oil Pipe Straightening Machine takes a different path. Multi-point laser/vision detection measures deflection at several stations, then a flexible pressure head applies point-pressure straightening. No rolling contact, no surface damage. Recipe-driven changeover between pipe sizes typically runs under 15 minutes. The servo-hydraulic force control ramps pressure in 0.1 s, so thin-wall tube doesn't pick up flat spots. Operators call up the recipe on the HMI, load the pipe, and the system maps deflection automatically — no straightedge, no shims, no guesswork.
Multi-point deflection mapping
Three or more measurement stations capture true pipe curvature, not a single-point reading.
Flexible pressure head
Load spreads across the pipe body; point-pressure correction leaves no indentations or scratches.
60–350 t configurable force
Select the press force to match pipe OD and wall thickness without oversizing the line.
Straightening Capacity & Cycle Data
These numbers define the working envelope for high-volume oil pipe correction. Servo-hydraulic actuators hold position under load, so spring-back compensation stays consistent from first joint to last. The AI self-learning module adjusts correction parameters after each pipe, reducing over-correction on thin-wall tube. For pipes near the max diameter, the flexible pressure head prevents point loading on thin walls.
Oil Country Tubular Goods in Production
These setups run casing, tubing, and line pipe through point-pressure straightening at line speed. The 60-ton unit handles smaller OD tubing; the 350-ton bed takes long, heavy casing joints. For OCTG threading plants, straight pipe means no rework at the coupling. For pipeline coating lines, straight pipe feeds blast and coating stations without jamming. For line pipe mills, straightness directly affects beveling and weld fit-up.

Send us a batch of bent oil pipe. We will run it through the Oil Pipe Straightening Machine at our facility, record before/after straightness, and document surface condition. No commitment — just process data for your production meeting.
Oil Pipe Straightening Machine
High-Volume Large-Diameter Pipe Correction
This machine straightens long, heavy oil country tubular goods at production speed using multi-point detection and point-pressure correction. Press forces from 60 to 350 tons cover casing, tubing, and line pipe — with no roller contact, so the pipe surface stays clean. Built for OCTG threading, line pipe, and drill pipe runs where surface finish matters as much as straightness.

Press Force, Pipe Range & Control Architecture
Every machine is load-tested with sample pipe before shipment; we provide straightness reports and surface inspection photos as part of FAT.
